Where is my data stored?

Everything stays on your device. Whym uses on-device storage only — no account, no server, no cloud sync. Your decisions are yours.

How do I cancel an Impulse Stopper timer?

Open the Impulse Stopper tool and tap the active timer. There's a cancel button that lets you end the wait at any time.

Why isn't my Live Activity showing on the Lock Screen?

Make sure Live Activities are enabled for Whym. Go to Settings → Whym → Live Activities and toggle it on. Also check that your iPhone is running iOS 16.2 or later.

Can I have more than one Impulse Stopper timer running at once?

Yes. Each impulse gets its own timer and its own Live Activity card on your Lock Screen.

How do I add Whym widgets to my Home Screen?

Long-press your Home Screen, tap the + button in the top corner, search for "Whym", and add the widget in the size you prefer.

Does Whym collect any analytics or crash data?

No. Whym has no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting, and no third-party data sharing of any kind. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

How do I delete all my data?

Deleting Whym from your iPhone removes all data permanently. Since everything is stored locally, there's nothing on any server to clean up.
